Michael Monroe Releases New Single ‘Everybody’s Nobody’ – Metal Planet Music

Michael Monroe releases new anthem single, ‘everyone is nobody‘, extract from the next album, I live too fast to die youngready to go out via Silver Lining Music June 10e2022.

It’s a tongue-in-cheek story about letting go of the ‘good old days’ and finding the things that make you happy here and now.” offers Monroe on the new single. “A lot of artists in our position seem content to bask in the glow of nostalgia instead of striving forward. And since they have never “made it big”, they prefer to affirm that they never really wanted to.

The title can also speak of your own worth” adds Monroe, “everyone has at least been nothing and that’s already a feat in itself”.

The single is accompanied by a high-octane, feel-good video showing the band strutting the streets like rock-punk poets, storytellers who have seen it all. Watch the video for ‘Everybody’s Nobody’ here.

Punk will always be there, it’s part of my thing and our sound”, continues Monroe on the album and overall i think we really renewed the sound of the band in the best possible way without moving away from who and what we are.

“I’ve always wanted to maintain the excitement and curiosity in life, keep that childlike spirit and excitement about things and not get complacent, not tire myself. Of course, I can be cynical and sarcastic , and I’ve been unlucky, but then again, who’s got any? And I still have a lot of things to look forward to. It doesn’t take much to make me happy. To be able to do what I love the most and live from it, it’s a gift.

With I live too fast to die youngit’s clear that Michael Monroe is stepping into summer with a triumphant – and perhaps most importantly, defiant – roar to give you a chance to let go (or get up!) and enjoy freedom again. of joyful celebration and expression.

The band, who will perform with Alice Cooper later this month, are due to perform at a series of summer shows across Europe, including the recently announced dates in London on July 1.st and 2n/aas special guests of Guns N’ Roses.

Michael Monroe and his gang will also join Black Star Riders on their 2023 UK tour with Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons of Motörhead. This tour will start on February 13e at Nottingham’s Rock City and tickets will go on general sale from 10am on Thursday 9th Junee.
