We saw encouraging signs in early 2022 that people were ready to return to the cinema for the ultimate movie-watching experience, but the coronavirus has certainly taken its toll on the industry. As a result, this year’s summer lineup may not be as dense as we were used to before the pandemic, but we still have plenty of exciting titles to look forward to. Of course, superhero fans have something to cheer about, with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunderand fans of the blockbuster action will be delighted with the return of Tom Cruise as the eponymous fighter pilot in Top Gun: Maverick.
